so i hate whining and i do a lot of it lately. but like. i’m really frustrated and i don’t know who to complain to but like…i don’t know. ever since my dad died, i just don’t like being around people because I feel like I’m that sad girl who everyone feels bad for, and I feel like everyone’s just waiting for me to start crying, and I don’t want to cry, and I spend a lot of time trying not to, and people constantly giving me “that look” doesn’t help. and rivers has been a butt lately, where he’s always trying to make me do stuff when I don’t want to, like, go out, and hang out with people, or move stuff into our new place.

And then tonight I’m like: okay. I moved some stuff into new place. Let’s move some more when you get home. And we can watch some movies and hang out while we do laundry there. And then he’s like: oh, a friend of mine is coming up from Racine.

And like, I like this friend. But I don’t want to see her. Because I don’t want to get drunk, and I don’t want to party, and I don’t want to do people right now. But then he got all mad when I was like: well, instead, let’s get this shit done. And like, not hang out with her. Because I don’t want to.

And last night, he said he’d come home right after work, but then he didn’t call me or text me for two and a half hours after he got done, and when he finally came home I was like: um, where were you? And he was hanging out with this girl who I know he has a crush on. and like, it’s cool. I get crushes on people, too. It just happens. But when you two are hanging out alone for two and a half hours, and I’m sitting at home waiting for you, and you don’t call to at least tell me what you’re doing, I feel kind of weird about it. Especially because my self-esteem is like, 0 right now, and my face is exploded in gross cystic acne, and I am no fun. And she is cool, and fun, and cute, and awesome, and I know she really likes me, and nothing will probably happen, but I’ve also cheated on people before even though I really like them, and dudes have cheated on their girlfriends with me even though I really like their girlfriends (I used to be a dirtbag).

so like.

I hate everything, I guess.

My new job at my job is being a busser/hostess/dishwasher/barback, but the bartender today decided not to tip me out…so I made less in tips today than I did yesterday, even though I was super busy today, and did nothing yesterday.

I don’t know if you guys saw the episode of Kitchen Nightmares, or if you’ve seen anything from their facebook meltdowns. But Amy’s Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona openly admitted to stealing their servers tips! So if you could please publish this, it’s a link to a petition to get them investigated by the US Department of Labor, and hopefully the resulting legal action will ensure that everyone who worked there gets compensation for the lost tips.

Not only do they steal tips from the servers, they are verbally abusive to their staff and customers. This was all shown on the Kitchen Nightmares episode, as well as many reviews from people who’ve eaten there. I’m sorry that this isn’t exactly a Robin, but I’m hoping that if you guys publish it, it’ll get the remaining signatures it needs (which is about 800 more at the time of submitting).

Ramsay talked to a former waitress there, and the waitress said she’d seen 50 people come and go in her year and a half there. The husband admitted that it was more. So please, Robins, let’s help the Robins who suffered at the hands of Amy’s Baking Company hopefully get back the tips that are rightfully theirs!

I’ve really enjoyed watching the internet circus about these two because like, pheeeeew, it’s a trainwreck! But at the same time, I feel kind of gross about it. Like, everyone knows this lady is not cut out to be a chef, and she’s awful at the internet, and treats her employees like crap, and her and her husband clearly need some help with restaurant management/life, but like, is spamming their tumblr/facebook/whatever with this shit really necessary?

Let me make it clear that I don’t support their business practices, but I also don’t support harassing someone on the level that they’re being harassed. They should definitely be investigated for mistreatment of workers, but so should THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY, which is notorious for not paying their workers fair wages, not offering benefits, and forcing their employees to work ridiculous hours. If the internet cared a little more about that, and a little less about one severely unbalanced woman and her husband, maybe things would be better for all of us.

Waiting for the bus and there was this dude like, knocking over a trash can, kicking trash in the street, yelling about how his bus was late, complaining about “being stranded,” and asking everyone for cigarettes.

Like. Dude. Get over yourself. Your bus will be here eventually, and no one wants to give you their stuff. Everybody just wants to you to shut up, and you’re making the old lady waiting for the bus uncomfortable.

As we were getting on our bus (luckily not his), the lady was like, “Boy am I glad you showed up. I put my keys between my knuckles and was ready to crack him over his head if he tried anything.” And then she basically just called out all these angry young dudes with their misplaced aggression and was like, “I’m 85 years old, and I’m not taking shit from no one.”

I love her and want to marry her.

Was just walking to the bus & this totally ridiculous dude in like, baggy shorts with BOTH HANDS down the front to hold them up goes, “hey babe!”

And I’m like: whatever, I don’t have time to be angry at this dude, and as far as “cat calling” goes, that’s pretty innocent. So, I smiled and kept walking.

Then he yells, “hey bitch! C’mere!” at me!

But I still have a bus to catch & don’t have time to yell at him, so I just go, “no. I have school.”

He kept yelling until I was out of earshot. So. Cool. Good day so far.
